Every man has the right to choose where to go and when to leave such place. You can decide to go to school today, forfeit your admission tomorrow and abscond from the campus indefinitely without anybody’s approval. Even the vice chancellor cannot harass you for that. You can decide today and vacate your place of residence before the appointed time. The landlord or landlady cannot petition your action. You can decide when to visit peer parlor for ‘enjoyment’ and when to vamoose. You can as well choose when to sit in a love garden to catch fun with a baby or guy and when to depart. This implies that you are the pilot of your life; you can drive yourself to any location of choice and leave at will.

However, there is one place that once you enter you cannot decide by yourself to return. That place is HELLFIRE! The right to decide when to pull out of it is absent. It is a place of no return! There is no exit door or escape route. There is no fire extinguisher to douse fire flames. It is a place where the loudest cry for help will receive no attention. It is a place where human tricks will bring no result. It is a place where “I beg you” will rather turn to annoyance. It is a place where mercy will be missing completely. Most painfully, it is a place for everlasting (never-ending) fire.

Interestingly, the decision to go to hell or not lies in your hand. Moreover, God does not want you to end up in hellfire (2Peter3:9). It is a place meant only for His enemies; those who reject his free offer of salvation. Are you God’s enemy? Are you born again? The answer your uncompromising conscience has given you is correct. Don’t pass this day without giving your life to Jesus Christ, because delay is dangerous. Confess your sins and renounce them (Prov.28:13). Ask him to be the Lord of your life, begin to live for Him daily, by obeying His Words.
