The word "Dead" shouldn't have been used in the heading. It's too grave. The word "Late" is preferable.

Literary Heroes should do

Christopher Okigbo 1932 - 1967; Author and Poet

I am suspicious of the place of Odumegwu Ojukwu, Usman Dan Fodio, Aminu Kano, Tafewa Balewa and others of their ilk. Their legacies as statesmen is not in question, but as writers? There seem to a huge question mark here

Besides, how can I become a member of the SYNW?

Is it just me or does 'dead' sound too vulgar?

Chinua Achebe is my best of all times. I also have a lot of respect for the tragic heroes among them i.e Chris Okigbo, Mamman Vatsa and Ken Saro Wiwa
