Players from different African countries had also played a great part in the history of Nigeria Football Professional league from time memorial that they have made it to the exclusive list of top scorers.

Enyimba’s Mfon Udoh still holds the record for the highest goal scored in a single season with his 23 goals tally in 2013-14 season.
