The University of Abuja, girls hostel has no fence and fulani cattle herdsmen roam the place daily with their cattle. Incessant cases of rape have continued to bedevil the university and mass protests have followed, but the school management continues to turn a blind eye and deaf ears to these facts. It's shocking that this school is directly under the nose of the Presidency, particularly NUC, which is just a few minutes drive away.
The hapless female students who reside in the unfenced school hostel continue to be exposed to snakes of all species (lala take note, please) and other dangerous creatures.
That is a school that recently christened it's library (filled with obsolete books) after the great Ogbemudia, who championed the establishment of the university of Benin, which is a far cry from the university of Abuja, in all ramifications (*in the voice of Ogbe Razak* "greatest uniben students! Greatest gba gba! Greatest gbi gbi"!). Those of you in UniAbuja who never experienced this Aluta-related vibe, don't worry ehn, we are coming to the rescue .
If formal education means anything to us, we must play our respective roles, I whatever capacity we can afford. So starting here, lala please do the needful.
