Johannesburg - The marriage of Khanyi Dhlomo-Mkhize, editor of True Love magazine, and her dentist husband Dr Sthembiso Mkhize has hit the rocks.

Dhlomo-Mkhize is filing for divorce allegedly citing her marriage was devoid of trust.

She is believed to be fed up with the marriage and wants nothing but a divorce.

This week she instructed her Johannesburg-based lawyers, Brian Kahn Inc Attorneys, to handle all divorce proceedings, including a settlement with regard to the maintenance of their two children and the issue of their house in Bryanston.

City Press was reliably told she wanted a peaceful out-of-court settlement.

The couple were married in a colourful wedding in 1992 in Durban. Their impending divorce is set to put to rest long standing rumours in high social circles that the two were experiencing problems in their marriage.

A family friend told City Press Dhlomo-Mkhize was not happy and had had enough after her husband allegedly "cheated" on her.

Dhlomo-Mkhize and her husband were rarely seen together in public during the last few years - fuelling speculation that all was not well in their marriage.
