Rapper Bow Wow made a major social media snafu on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old bragged to his fans on his Instagram about traveling by private jet on his promotional tour for his reality show Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta.

He posted a photo to his Instagram account that boasted a private jet, Mercedes-Benz coupe and luxury tour van.

The problem the private jet isn’t his.

In fact, none of it is, according to several people who were on the same New York City flight as the entertainer.

But unfortunately for him, an eagle-eyed airline passenger spotted him traveling to New York on a regular commercial flight, took a photo and called the recording artist out on Twitter.

'So this guy lil bow wow is on my flight to NY.

But on instagram he posted a picture of a private jet captioned "traveling to NY today" smh,'@Al_Kheetweeted.

Unfortunately for the rapper, 30, he was snapped sitting on a commercial flight from Atlanta by a fellow passenger who then called him out on Twitter.




Another eagle-eyed Twitter user found the same pic Bow Wow had shared claiming to be at Peachtree Airport in Georgia on a website for a Forida VIP transportation company.
