.

.
33 + 33 = 66 + 22 = 88
.

if each figure is multiplied by 2 ...then u gon get something like

11*2 + 11 * 2 = 44
.
22 * 2 + 22 *2 = 88
.
Which is wrong already by ur asumption.
.
11*2 +22*2 = 66 ..... This should be ur answer not 55
