I just got the Infinix hot 4 lite from jumia. Everything is cool with the phone except the 1 Gig Ram cos the phone gets slow SOMETIMES And even hangs on heavy use, now my question is must a 1 Gig Ram Phone hang?

No. 1GB RAM + android 2.3 Gingerbread = super smooth operation.

See kit kat can run very well on 1 gig ram phones. But anything from lollipop upwards, 1gig ram will just continue to hang. It will hardly multi-task.
I remember back them that kit kat was optimized to work well with low ram, as low as evwn 512 mb.

Yeah, I remember, but it's actually only Lollipop that has the the problem with resource management, Marshmallow and Nougat fare much better with low spec devices.

not necessarily, i use a tecno spark and i use the phone master app to clear cache,hence it helps avoid hanging.

try and install a custom room it will help

Not all 1gb phone hangs cos my tecno spark 2 doesn't

FERO Vibe with Oreo and 1gb ram closes every background app once you turn off the backlight whether intentionally or not. Practically you can't download with ADM or play music with any player apart from system apps that came with the phone.

I have tried all possible solution and it doesn't won't.

Pretty useless to me especially coming from a 3GB ram phone after 3yrs
