Many achievements aren't from God. I remember back then in school when some girls will sleep with lecturers and some boys will block to get good grades and you asked them, how do they do it? Many will tell you "na God o", "God has been faithful". And you who know how they did it will be laughing at them silently. But those who don't know will be thinking God is biased. Do not let anyone achievement surprise you..It's a natural phenomenon to give credit to God for just anything. It doesn't mean it from God. I remember back then some bloggers who do blackhat and post porn to make money. They become the most religious people by mouth when you ask then how do they achieve that $$$ on their screenshot. They will tell you it's "God grace". "That when the Grace of God is upon you, there is nothing you cant achieve". And some other bloggers will begin to ask God for favour and they wont see. lol. It happening everywhere, even harlots will make money and tell those who dont know how they did it, "it's by the grace of God". "The power of the tongue is strong..use the tongue to confess positive things in your life and things will change". Ritualists, fraudsters, and arm robbers will do the same thing. And many of this people will suddenly turn motivational speakers..telling you "success begins with determination" "Just be focus and see how success comes your way", bla..bla I remember someone asking me how God works in this words "Is God is really partial? I dont steal, I dont drink, I dont fornicate, I read my Bible daily and I pray often but yet many who do otherwise are making it in life" I dont blame the fellow tho, cos he has been in-planted with a wrong notion that wealth, fame, educational success are signs of God's approval' and that to get it, you need grace. And I told the fellow, not everyone preaching grace to you come with clean hands, you dont know what they do in secret. you dont know how many lives and homes they destroyed, friends they betrayed, lies they told, and sins they've committed to get to that level, hence just be who you are and do your good. 3 Likes 1 Share |

But God permits them all. So in essence God is involved. If not be God, dem for no even see kobo Take bribe. God allows them to bribe and succeed at it. It doesn't mean they did the right thing, but to say God did not permit their success even if they went about it the wrong way?.....A don believe it! God may allow something's but it doesn't mean he is happy with those things. |

I'm passing through something, I can't even say thank God for anything, all ve been saying is that God is partial since last week even up till now...I think your post just enlightened me, I will be more focus on myself now and not bothering myself on how others are doing theirs... |

delishpot: I think he was just meaning that folks give credit to God on things He would never ever co-sign on. Like awards shows.....say for instance a hardcore rapper says, "First I want to thank God for this award..." (which they usually do). And I'm like come on....thanking God for you making songs that sexualize & degrade women, condone violence, glamorize the "thug life" & have foul language? But see it becomes the "politically correct" (PC) thing to do...thank the Creator. But yes you are right....God, being the Sovereign Creator, allows it....but doesn't condone it. He isn't gonna take away a person's choice to live how he/she chooses...although He longs to have an intimate relationship with him/her. |
