The Premier League have released the nominees list for the Player of the Season and Manager of the Season awards with Chelsea and Tottenham featuring strongly.
Chelsea and Tottenham unsurprisingly head the shortlist for both awards, with three players each and both Antonio Conte and Mauricio Pochettino named.
Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante is the favourite to win the player’s award, having already lifted the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and Football Writers’ Associations gongs this campaign.
Chelsea teammates Eden Hazard and Cesar Azpilicueta are also in contention.
Tottenham trio Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen have also been named, while Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and Everton forward Romelu Lukaku round off the eight-man shortlist.
Conte and Pochettino are joined on the managerial shortlist by Paul Clement, who guided Swansea to Premier League safety after being appointed in January.
