16 WEEK INTENSIVE TRAINING IN BASIC PATTERN CONSTRUCTION AND SEWING TECHNIQUE TRAINING

Understanding the Basic Blocks/Slopers ( researchers grouped them into 5 - Front and Back Bodice; Front and Back Skirt; and Sleeve) is the most important aspect of Garment Making.

When an individual understands these Basics, which I call the Foundation, then individual can build on it. There are thousands of online resources that can also help.

(3). Dress Foundation and Manipulations

(4). Skirt block Foundation

(a). Skirt Variations; Straight, A-line, Pencil, Panel, Gore, Godet, Flare, Pleated, Gathered, Introduction to Asymmetric.

(5). Sleeve - Straight, Semi-shaped and Shaped

(6). Basic shirt block

(7). Basic tunic block
