104,000 Students Applied For Uniilorin And Only 10,000 Slots Available by lacemose(m): 11:50am On May 19, 2017
News coming in this morning is that the university of iilorin has about 104,000 Jamb candidate who applied for admission into the school and there are just 10,000 slots available for applicants.
The vice chancellor of the university, Prof. Abdulganiyu Ambali made this known to the public yesterday during the Departmental 40th anniversary, that is the department of History and int'l Studies in the school.
At the event, the Vice chancellor was inevitably absent but was represented by the DVC, Professor Adebayo Yusuf Abdulkareem who made mention that the infrastructures in the school at different courses made it attractive for young applicants to apply to the school.
Dr. Ibrahim Jawondo, the head of department for History and int'l studies said the corporate organization's and other individuals should help to assist the department meet the needs of improving academics.
