Advice A Frd Pls On His Career by Gydion(m): 1:01pm On May 19, 2017
Good afternoon,

I have a frd who work as an accountant in a reputable insurance company as a contract staff with salary of 60k at the island but lives in the mainland and spend more than N1,100 everyday.

He just secured a job with a private company in a manufacturing company on the mainland which he will now spend not more than N800 everyday and salary is N70k which he will continue to work as an accountant with 13 month salary and quarterly bonuses.

Please note that the insurance company is well know but the manufacturing company is not well known.

Pls advice, should he leave or stay in the insurance company?

Thanks for your advice in advance.

really sad nobody came ere to help. sorry bro. nairaland for u sometimes.
anyway hope it went well in the decision-making.

anyway for anyone in similar shoes, always rmbr this rule...

if it's for you to be blessed, it will eventually add up.
some large firms do not take good care of their employees because of their size. they are just too big to notice you. but not all.
but take a look at the quiet church by the corner of the road, probably less than 200 members, and pastor knows everyone by name.
what do you think happens to the members? you guessed it. they feel loved, feel involved, feel a need to be committed.

that's what happens when you get hired by a small company with a great vision.
you rise fast.
even when you leave, the memories linger and it shapes your view of things ahead.
positively ofcourse.
wink
goodluck
