There are 2ways of fixing this problem. 1. Scan and it points you in the tight direction, or Go old Sch wich means take down every solenoid on the gear box and test. Your vehicle is a 98 accord by your description, it will have a port, even if it has been chopped off, another port can be installed.

you were looking in the wrong place grin

It is originally on the right as a converted car!! Check under glove box it would have been dangling somewhere there

his was imported from dubai and so wasn't converted. I even had to resort to YouTube to locate the port. I checked where YouTube said it will be but couldn't find it still

Another thing with the car was I also looked for the O2 sensor but couldn't find it. That car is weird

there are no strict emission laws there, so car manufacturers can get away with a lot of crappy cheap designs, the vehicle might have a production date of 1998, but still not have an OBDII port

this is a better explanation. Cos I was marveled when I searched and didn't see. I still feel it might have been yanked off by our electrician. The engine is a 1.8l vtec. It looks more like a civic engine
