It was a day to remember forever for a 54-year-old man who attempted to rape a young lady on Friday as he lost his manhood in the ensuing struggle between the two.

According to the police, the lady in question – a 23-year-old Indian law student cut off her attacker’s manhood after he allegedly tried to rape her at her house in the southern state of Kerala.

According to the lady, she was at her residence in the state capital. Thiruvananthapuram late Friday when she was attacked by the 54-year-old man who had deceived her family that he was a religious guru.

Chief G Sparjan Kumar who is the District Police Chief told journalists that the lady in question was able to grab a knife and succeeded in cutting off her attacker’s manhood.

He went on to inform them that the man who goes by the name Hari Swami had to be rushed to a nearby Government Hospital in a very serious state of health.

It was also reported that the lady’s parents blindly trusted Hari to the extent that they often invited him over to their house to perform some religious ceremonies and even allow him to stay overnight with them.
