United Kids 2-0 Crystal Palace: What We Learnt On Babies Day Out by manutdNaijaFM: 8:29pm On May 21, 2017
Manchester United ended their season on a high today with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace, despite declaring today as 'babies day out'. Here are five things we learnt from the clash.

1) UNITED'S KIDS PASSED THEIR 'COMMON ENTRANCE' EXAMINATION
With nothing to play for in the EPL, Jose 'Uchenna' Mourinho handed Premier League debuts to five United academy youngsters, who had very good games.
Josh Harrop rifled the opener after cutting in from the left wing, Joel 'De Gea Jnr' Pereira got a clean sheet, McTominay, Demi Michelle, Josh Harrop and Angel Gomes also impressed. The future of United is in good hands.

Special mention for Axel Tuanzebe who continued his remarkable rise, with a stellar performance in holding midfield. Excellent delivery under the watchful eyes of the manager.

2) PAUL 'IKENNA' POGBA IN 'DEJA-VU' FORM
Paul Pogba delivered a masterclass performance in his 44 minutes on the pitch, notching a peach of an assist with the outside of his boot, from his own half to set up the opening goal, and scoring the second with a neat finish. 'Deja-vu' indeed as he scored and assisted Zlatan in the first leg of the clash. Perfect form to step into the UCL 'backyard door' final.

3) MOU'S ISSUES WITH FOSU-MENSAH REVEALED
With many fans questioning Mourinho on the bench warming consistency of Fosu-Mensah this season, despite impressive displays under 'Oga Philosophy' Van Gaal, the reason was shown today. 'Timo' spent his time diving into reckless tackles, giving out set pieces in dangerous positions around the penalty box, and putting the young United team under pressure. Mou is known for fielding only players he trusts 100% at any point in time, and this was a clear display as to why Mensah's not there yet. A decent performance in the end though.

4) ANGEL GOMES CREATES PREMIER LEAGUE RECORD.
With his substitute appearance, the Manchester United wonderkid who is the cousin of former United winger Luis Nani, became the first player born in the 2000s to play in the premier league.
The diminutive playmaker had previously broken a United record by being the youngest ever player to win the Jimmy Murphy United Youth Team Player of the Season during the week. A star in the making.

5) TWO 'FRIEN-EMIES' END IN THE SAME BOAT
Liverpool's win over Middlesbrough today ensured Manchester United and Arsenal both finished outside the top four, in the same season - THE FIRST TIME in the Premier League era. Fortunately for United, they have struggled and earned a second attempt to get into the UCL through the 'backyard door', the Europa league. Beware Manchester United fans, rebuke all 'bad bele' spirits as Ajax just got themselves Arsenal fans to support them on Wednesday night.

In the end, a good way to draw down the curtains to another EPL season, and also a good way to celebrate the one year anniversary of our FA cup final victory against(guess who).......Crystal Palace.
Last gallop crossed, all roads lead to Stockholm.
