Chinese government has a way of throwing their weight behind most of their indigenous establishments so as to compete in the global world.

In China one important thing about their economic policy is that you must partner with an an indigenous company in China or establish in China before you will be able to market your products in China.

Zuckerberg would have been the world's richest man if he had agreed to these terms. He refused so Chinese government blocked Facebook then sponsored Baidu to provide similar services like Facebook.
Premium automobile brands and models are the most victims of this policy. Once you refuse to produce a well appraised auto brand or model in China then you must be ready to brace yourself because their local industries will come up with counterfeits that look exactly like yours but surprisingly priced at a fraction of your precious original..
They have Chinese version of premium cat models like BMW x6, Rolls Royce, Bentley Continental etc. When you see them approaching or parked you'd think they ate the original only to discover that they have funny names like Qingdao, Xinjiang etc

I look forward to the century that Nigeria would restrict social media sites and create her own.

By the way, do you know why China would continue growing? Because they usually consume Made in China goods and services, among other things...but my poor Nigeria .

I just like these chinese, they buy more of their products. With a population of over 1billion people, they don't really need foreign market.

We need a new world power and giant, America has tried but America started abusing their power when they started their radical foreign policies of secretly toppling other countries' president and installing their own anointed candidate, which they did in Nigeria in 2015 by frustrating Goodluck to Install herdsman.

USSR reigned for years, had a booming economy big enough to enable them single-handedly build world space center in the moon, but when the law of nature caught up with USSR, they couldn't stop it and US took over.

I think China should do fast and take over, it is already overdue, America has over stayed her welcome as world power, we need a change but not APC/Buhari type of change!

Power needs to rotate hands so some people won't feel or think they are God!

‎...and for those saying China produces fake things, for your exclusive info, China produces both fake and original things for the whole world now.

China produces over 40% of the electronic gadgets, mobile phones, etc America, Europe and Americas use today.

China just finished a train project that carries goods direct from China to Europe, including UK, and Europeans were so excited about it.

China has manufactured and launched their own national carrier; I mean their own aeroplane purely built by Chinese Engineers, not the one Rolls Royce and GE produces the engine for others, they built everything by themselves. 

China started their space mission in 2002, traveling to the moon from their soil with their own rocket and coming back without any crash or mishap, meanwhile UK, Germany, Japan, France, Italy, etc couldn't go to the moon despite their technological prowees but China did it.

So in the whole world today, we have only 3 countries that have traveled to the moon with their own national space craft and from their own soil, and they are:

1. USSR/Russia
2. ‎USA
3. China

China has developed more technologies that is helping the world today than Europe and America. In terms of military might, only America and Russia understand how mighty Chinese military power is and reason they can't start any war with China.

China's next target is to end poverty in the whole China before 2050, and remember, China is 1 billion people plus in population, which is like 10 x America and Russia! #Respect‎

These Chinese guys would soon take over the world. They see your thing, they clone it, and sell it cheap. And of course they make sure they patronise only their own products. So no kobo leaves their economy, funds only come in. The day Nigeria copies the Chinese model, that day we shall start getting things right.

The Chinese even just completed test flights for their first 'large' passenger planes which is to compete with Boeing and Airbus; and of course, Chinese airlines have instantly ordered thousands.
