It depends on the site/payment gateway. This is not even a problem with GTbank, it is an instruction from CBN.

For sites that don't have too much payments coming from Nigeria, you can still make payments with your Nigeria card for only $100 monthly.

But for sites that get too much traffics and payments from Nigeria like facebook,paypal twitter and so on, you will need a USD card.
