Bed bugs can also move from place to place as people travel. This explains why they are everywhere around the globe. 13. When bed bugs bite, they inject an anesthetic that prevents a person from realizing the bite, so, it is hard to tell, unless you find signs of infestation on your skin. 14. Bed bug bites usually do not pose a serious medical threat. The best way to treat a bite is to avoid scratching the area, if you are unable to avoid scratching the bites, an infection may result.
