HEY, just a reminder.

As we grow older, we begin to drift apart from family. We become easily irritated by their actions even if, most times, they want the best for us. We start to think we are enough to be what we want and, sadly, we leave them behind. Our interactions reduce greatly and where we've been willing to find happiness before becomes a warzone.

Soon, we move out or we have to go away for a while. The calls barely come after some time, or completely stop coming, and the messages we used to appreciate them in the not-too-distant past end too. We are totally caught up in our lives and in creating an identity for ourselves and, somehow, some of us go far as erasing the one they gave us, forgetting how important it was that they had given us something which the society accepted us for. We travel and forget them and when they call, we growl at them (sometimes, unconsciously) and go berserk cos the edge in their voice begins to irate us.

If it turns out well, we believe we've been vindicated of the actions we took toward them, somehow letting them slip us by, the pains and lows we must have caused them then. Eitherway, if it turns out otherwise, we blame them and dump all refuse at their face. We blame them just for what they are and blame them and blame them, all because we know they will never get fed up and that they will gladly be our dumping refuse everywhere, at any time and always.

Take your time today. Let go of old grudges if any. Say hi to family and wave your hands over the phone like they were present. Visit mother or father or let siblings run to you and cry on your shoulders. Drive to that old home that gave you life and take its occupants out to be reunited once more. Take risks, take blames and make a sacrifice for your family today. You never know how long you have left, you never know.

No one will ever love you, understand you, care for you, stand by you, help you to your feet, kiss you, hug you or remember you like they do and that is the essence of life.

Just a reminder, honestly.

Please say if this makes sense.
