Hello guys! I would like to hear your opinion. I'm very much fascinated in almost all departmentof IT l. I love both software and hard . I know a bit of programming but i want to improve more on it.

Which IT program is the most commercial relevant in the country?
Does any of you know much about Jidaw training? http://www.jidaw.com/training.html

After completing masters in UK ( lets say software engr. ) do you still need any further certification.

theres opportunity in every IT facet, it only depends on u discovering ur strengths and weaknesses. for example, if ur quite a restless person who likes holding d screw driver, hardware could interest u. but if u cant sit down 4hours thinkin of logical ways in solving problems, then software eng. / programmmin aint 4u.
some people say u dont need math skills in programmin, but i ve 2b very sincere, being good wit math ll b a lot of advantage 4u. ask d emeka emegwalis, larry ellisons, bill gates etc.
in all, just discover ur passion and go 4it.having relevant cert. ll also boost ur masters, though i believe masters is 4dose pursuing admin positions

Speaking in general as I bet the Nigerian landscape is different, I would say you don't need further certification after a masters but you do need further upgrading of your skill set through reading and constant practice. In our craft, this is the only way to stand out in the crowd. Just like computers, our skills are such that they are old school within days of use so you need to keep on reading to improve yourself. Our craft is also like the hydra - you master one area and 3 more news ones pop up almost immediately. sad, but true.

good luck!

Thanks @ Yawa and @instinct

I really don't know how diverse the IT course is in Naija. There's an aspect of IT , real time computing It's quite new and the course content is very interesting. Not sure if our industries make use of the skills

A master degree does not give you practical experience just in the same way a college professor can't learn to be street smart in a class room. Most times, there is little substitute for experience. If the training will give you the experience or exposure you are looking for - then by all means, take it.

ICT not more IT, is very wide. it is good to have an idea in all, but u have to specialise in one. i dont know ur ability,
but if u can endure with having sleepless night, rackin ur brain, debugging times without number and still finding errors, then u can go into software. if not hardware or better still communications.
if u want to do hardware certification, u can do MCSE.
above all, any thing u do u must always upgrade ur self and think outside the box.
