It is no longer new, that lives and properties are being destroyed by Boko Haram terrorists through suicide bombing means in Nigeria. The North Eastern part of the country has witnessed not only suicide attacks from the main Boko Haram militants, but also from little children, mostly girls. These innocent girls are being manipulated and tasked to carry out missions unknown to them that it will end up their lives. In this regard, a small group of Youths, mostly students and graduates, who formed a Local Non-governmental Organization in Mubi, Adamawa state, referred to as 'Insight Reflection Network', took a step, not only to create awareness about ressistance to such disastrous missions, but also to support and enhance Girl Education. Members of this Network (IR.Network) are currently visiting schools to educate and encourage school girls to embrace education for a brighter and successful future. In a brief chat with the President of Insight Reflection Network, Miss Favour Wafar, a 400 level, Political Science student of Adamawa State University, Mubi, Miss Wafar stated that the steps taken by her Network is to demote violent extremism fueled by all sort of circumstances, especially insurgency. She further revealed that her Network's outreach is supported by Dr. Jacobs Udo-Udo Jacobs, the Coordinator, Peace Journalism Network, American university of Nigeria, Yola. Insight Reflection Network has been applauded not just for promoting Peace and Girl Education in the post conflict town of Mubi, but for their previous functions which includes Child Protection Against Inhygiene Campaign, and Water Sanitation and Hygiene Outreach to count but few.
