Tips For Holidaying In Lagos! by Daniella212: 7:28pm On May 29, 2017 |
I'm coming to Lagos, Nigeria in about 2/3 months, I've never been there alone and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on holidaying in Nigeria, especially Lagos. If anyone has any tips on etiquette and life in general in Lagos that would yield an easy trip, it would be much appreciated. Tips I've heard so far include; Don't forget ATM card in the machines as money comes out first Have Naira on you at all times Travel to Nigeria with a passport rather than a visa Don't complain Thank you! |

Ahhhhh.... Well, if I were you I would alternate guest houses just too avoid boredom. Whats your plan on logistics, hope not danfo ? You could hire a car if you dont have a standby car in Lag, preferrably uber could suffice since you may not neccesarily know the routes. You would be fine generally but pls ensure not to wear the JJC tag! And do let us know when you touch down Daniella212: |

aamstih: I don't think Lagos could ever be boring! I'm not too sure about danfos but I think uber would be a safe bet? I've been trying to learn so pidgin and drop this "foreign" accent of mine, but no luck. Of course Would you know any nice spots in Lagos? |

Well, boring is subjective though, one could still be bored in NY while another might consider Lubbock quite exciting you know... You would still be fine without pidgin, you dont really need to fake being an 'omo nile' As for nice spots, no big deal in knowing them before hand, Lagos is saturated with them, your 40 days may not even be enough to go round depending on your level social indulgence.
