If we reason it, their are more than one means to get the answer according to the examples, so which means among them are we going to use to get our answer.

I arrive at the answer because the result of the first equation in relation to the second is a factor of itself doubled. So makes sense that the difference between equation number 2 and 3 will be 16 (doubled). There you go!

What if: 11×11=4 22×22=16 33×33=256
i.e. 4×4=16 16×16=256 That's my logic.

1 + (1 * 1) + 1 = 3

Which would be wrong

Multiply 33 by 33 = 1089 add its digits together to get 18

Apply the same principle to the first two and you will arrive at 4 and 16 respectively.

11 x 11= 4 that is 2^2

22 x 22= 16 that is 2^4

33 x 33= 64 that is 2^6


Answer = 64

The logic is this:

( 1 x1) 1 + 1= 2

( 2 x 2) 2 + 2= 4

(3 x 3) 3 + 3= 6
