Businessday Nigeria conference on Broadband issues held today at Wheatbaker Hotel, Lagos. The conference is named Broadband Summit 2017.

The summit for this year is themed "Broadband as an Enabler of Economic Growth will highlight the need to increase Broadband Access and penetration in Nigeria."

According to Businessday, the summit is to bring together all experts and investors in the tech market to seek and discussed ways Nigeria broadband service will be increased to more than 30 percent. Current broadband penetration is 14 percent.

One of the speakers of the summit is the Bayo Adekanmni, the chief transformation officer, MTN Nigeria. He speaks on ‘Broadband for all by 2018’ at the Business Day Broadband Summit. Other notable tech personalities in Nigeria was also present. I will tell you more details of it as soon as I get them.
