So many of us are not certain how God will judge the world in the end. It seems all men have failed God in some very disapponting ways and many are unable to lift themselves from their moral vulnerability. To shy away from the feeling of a harsh eternal doom for all sinners people now embrace the gospel of grace. The thoughts of being judged guilty by God with the eternal torments that follow is now submerged by always thinking of the Grace that covereth our sins. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Though we work hard to be upright in heart we find ourselves sometimes falling. Never resolving to stay down and defeated we rise back up again. This process continues through our pilgrimage then we start thinking of what else to do and better ways to apply to live a completely sinless life.

Not withstanding, I discovered a strong area in our lives that we often overlook which has the greatest magnitude in God's eyes and determines how we are weighed to know how upright we are. Our words!

Our words have all the potency to make us pure. The Bible says we are defiled by what we say. If a man has no faults in words he is perfect. James. 3:2. For this to be stated explicitly in the Bible It means God is attentive to how we use words and will judge us based on that on the last day. Matt. 12:37.

Our words are more powerful than anything in the world, more powerful that our thoughts. Words have the ability to create and to destroy. God spoke the earth into existence through words. Words have the potency to bless and curse. God in delivering the world from Satan used His Word. Jesus the saviour of the world is the Word of God made flesh. John. 1:14. This spells out vividly the potency of words as it appears in the eyes of God. Words have life-forming and taking abilities. James. 3:1-13.

On the last day it is the way we used words in our lifetime that stands as an everlasting monument before God. The words that we have spoken will judge us. What motives were behind them? Did we ever bother to consider their effects on people? The Bible injuncts that we make our words seasoning and full of grace always Col. 4:6. Note that there are no empty words. All our words will stand to judge us.

If God had to try his own words and purified it seven times before he spoke them to us we should be sure he will hold us by our words. Ps. 12:6.

Have you been using words carelessly? Know it today that your words have the potency to either save or destroy you. Rom. 10:9-10.

Ask God to help you apply your heart to this. To help you cultivate the habbit of thoughtfully using your word to his glory.

*WITH PURE WORDS CONSISTENTLY APPLIED OUR THOUGHTS WILL ALSO ALLIGN THEMSELVE TO THE WORDS WE SPEAK AND GOD WILL BE GLORIFIED IN US BOTH IN TIME AND ETERNITY.*
