Hi guys, good morning to you . I am writing this from the comfort of my bed, of which I am meant to be at work.
The traffic yesterday has pushed me into taking an automatic off day today. I spent 5hours driving home yesterday. One a normal day, I make it home within 30 -45mins which I still encounter traffic o.
I know I would have spent more than 5hours it not for my Lagos road sense that I have gained over the years.
I was feeling like a bad nigga while I was taking turns on uncommon roads (as a lere boy na), cars were following me hoping I know my way around, I still wonder why motorists do that sha, what if I have decided not to go home anymore and branch a beer parlour where will that leave them ? Well as I did all my manovering from one place to another I noticed a white car keeping on me, i guess he was lost already but he has started it he has to finish it (no turning back). My skills later came to a stop when I had made use of all my options, we were at a gridlock no movement for about an hour. The guy in the white came walked up to me and asked if I knew any other way around, I told him I was making those turns with church mind ni o (his response was HAAAa) but I later told him I was joking. Told him they was no way around anymore he was disappointed. Apparently, he was not like 10mins away from his distination and he never knew. Well I was 2hours away to mine. I felt cheated.
