Our Client, A major player in the telecommunication industry is a dealer and distributor of all the telecoms products and services from all the telecoms companies in Nigeria.
It started operations since 2001 when the telecoms business was formally introduced. As a result of expansion in line with the business objectives, they has over 22 branches in Rivers State including full functional connects and New dawn shops in located within the South-South and South-East . it has over two hundred and fifty staff (over 250 staff) across all its branches and facilities.
They are to recruit the following to handle major positions within the Organization.
1. Chief Operating Officer ( TP/PHC/005)
2. Operations Manager ( TP/PHC/001)

POSITION: Chief Operating Officer (TP/PHC/005)

JOB LOCATION: Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Personnel Requirement
i. Male or female.
ii. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other related subjects and proficient MBA/M.Sc.
iii. High level computer literacy.
iv. Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in a production and distribution chain Industry (preferably telecoms) out of which Five (5) years must have been spent at Senior Management/Executive Management Level.
v. Extensive hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of the Demand and Supply Chain.
vi. All candidates must have verifiable references from current employers and character reference from close associates.
vii. Versatility to drive the business growth within Telecommunication Industry,
viii. Previous leadership experience in Product distribution business concerns is a plus Knowledge of the Nigerian Downstream Telecoms Sector and relevant regulations; Corporate Planning, Strategy Planning and Implementation;
ix. Financial and Business Management Skills Management Excepted ;
a. Risk Management
b. Strategic and Analytical Thinking
c. Strong Leadership Skills
d. Change Oriented and Result Focused
e. Ability to effectively engage the Executive and Board
f. Negotiation, Public Speaking and Presentation Skills
Job Description
• The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and will be under his broad supervision.
• The right candidate will be coordinating and operating activities in the Downstream Telecoms Industry. He will be Interpreting strategy and leading project and programme development as well as implementation to meet the mission of the organization and support the MD in developing and executing strategies and policies that ensure operational performance, growth, sales performance and profitability.
• He will be interfacing with both the public and private sector clients of the Company, including developing new sales ideas to ensure business growth and turnover.
• The candidate must have knowledge and supply chain and distribution of telecom products and electronic devices.
• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
• Designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures
• Establishing policies that promote company culture and vision
• Overseeing operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, and Finance etc.)
• Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
• Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
• Participate in expansion activities.
REMUNERATIONS:
Remunerations will be in accordance with the class and quality of candidate but it will be in accordance with the market rate and also negotiable and very attractive.

POSITION: Operations Manager (TP/PHC/001)

JOB LOCATION: Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Personnel Requirement
x. Male or female.
xi. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other related subjects.
xii. experience managing the operations of an organization for at least 7 years
xiii. High level computer literacy.
xiv. Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
xv. Good communication skills.
xvi. Should be able to work under pressure.
xvii. The candidate must have profound knowledge about telecom products and services within the Nigerian context.
xviii. The candidate must be able to excel within a result and target oriented business environment meeting weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and achieving targets.
xix. The right candidate will join an ambitious team with great vision and creative energy and must have ability and capacity to work within a team.

Job Description

• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing standards; training representatives; monitoring client contact; surveying customers; evaluating outcomes.
• Resolves customer problems by training service representatives; providing information; answering questions.
• Maintains work process flows by coordinating information and requirements with related operational departments; participating with and providing resources to business improvement teams.
• Keeps management informed by preparing reports; making presentations; interpreting information; making recommendations.
• Maintains equipment by coordinating requirements with telecommunications and information services departments; examining state-of-the-art technology; recommending upgrades; controlling installations.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
