Children are the future of any country that is why this year TECNO Mobile Children’s Day celebration was tagged I am the future. It was an activity to celebrate Nigerian kids by reminding all and sundry the need to give them the right future by supporting their education.

This year’s children’s day may have come and gone but the memory will linger for the schools and families whose children were awarded scholarship. This year’s Children’s Day celebrations marks the fourth consecutive year TECNO Mobile is undertaking this initiative through her Foundation to support education at the grassroots level, as part of its annual corporate social responsibilities.

Speaking while presenting the scholarships to the awardees, TECNO’s Deputy Marketing manager – PR, Offline events and Sponsorships, Attai Oguche, reiterated the brand’s promise to inspire learning at the developmental stage of every Nigerian child. In his words: “We cannot ignore the fact that every child needs quality education in building the future workforce of our nation. TECNO Mobile is dedicated in building Nigeria’s educated future and the prosperity of the African continent”.

Among the winners for this year’s scholarship prize award are Tom Divine of Ilupeju Primary School, Saliu Sakayawu of Majolate Primary School, Odi-Olowo and Hamzat Quadri of Community Primary School Ilupeju, Mushin LGA of Lagos.
