Born in Enfield,[4] Onomah came through the academy system at Tottenham Hotspur. He was first called up for the first team on 5 January 2015, remaining an unused substitute in their 1–1 draw away to Burnley in the FA Cup third round,[5] and made his debut nine days later in the replay, replacing Andros Townsend for the last 15 minutes of a 4–2 victory at White Hart Lane.[6] On 24 May, he was included in the matchday squad for a Premier League game for the first time, remaining unused as Tottenham won 0–1 at Everton in the last game of the season.[7]

In the 2015–16 season, Onomah changed his shirt number to 25, which was included on the club's list of first-team numbers.[8] He made his Premier League debut in a 3–1 home victory over Aston Villa on 2 November 2015, replacing Dele Alli for the final minutes.[9] On 10 December, Onomah made his first start for Tottenham playing 90 minutes in a 4-1 victory over AS Monaco.[10]

Oviemuno Dominic O. Ejaria

Born in London to Nigerian parents, Ejaria, grew up supporting Arsenal for whom he played for nine years before signing for Liverpool in summer 2014. His first senior appearance was in a pre-season friendly prior to the 2016-17 season against Tranmere Rovers on 8 July 2016.[3] Despite being relatively unknown prior to the game he performed exceptionally well and caught the eye of first team manager Jürgen Klopp who selected him for four more friendlies over the summer.[citation needed]

His first competitive call-up came on 16 September in a Premier League match against Chelsea. He was an unused substitute in Liverpool's 2–1 victory.[4] Four days later, he made his first team debut against Derby County in the League Cup replacing Roberto Firmino in the 3–0 victory.[

Ejaria is eligible to represent England or Nigeria internationally. He trained with the Nigeria Under-17s team in 2013 and stated that his international allegiance lay with the country in 2014.[8] However, despite rumours of a senior Nigeria call up being in the offing, Ejaria accepted a call up to the England U20 team on 30 September 2016.[9] He made his debut for the Under-20 team on 7 October, in a 3–1 win against Germany, playing the whole match.[10]

Ademola Lookman Olajade Lookman

Lookman was born in Wandsworth, London.[2] Lookman attended St Thomas the Apostle College in Peckham where he achieved three A*s and five As at GCSE.

Lookman joined Charlton's academy in 2014 after signing from Waterloo FC, a youth football club based in the London Borough of Lambeth.[4] His goalscoring record for Charlton's U18 and U21 teams led to him making a rapid ascent through the Charlton academy ranks and he made his first-team debut for the Addicks on 3 November 2015.[5] He scored his first goal for the club in a 3–2 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion on 5 December 2015,[6] and then followed that up with a brace in a 2–2 draw with Bolton Wanderers on 15 December 2015.[7]

Lookman signed for Everton on 5 January 2017 for a fee of £7.5m rising to £11m on a four-and-a-half year contract.[8][9]

Lookman made his debut for the club on 15 January 2017 in a 4–0 victory over Manchester City, replacing Ross Barkley in the 90th minute and subsequently scoring the team's 4th goal.[10]

Dominic Ayodele Solanke-Mitchell

During the 2013–14 season, Solanke scored 20 goals in 25 games for Chelsea under-18s.[4] On 6 May 2014, he scored two late goals as Chelsea came from two goals down to beat local rivals Fulham 7–6 on aggregate in the FA Youth Cup Final. On 29 July, José Mourinho stated a belief that he should blame himself were Solanke not to become a senior England international under his management, and indicated that the player would train with the first-team squad during the 2014–15 season.[5]

2014–15 season
Due to the injury of Diego Costa, on 18 October 2014, Solanke was named on the bench for a Premier League match against Crystal Palace.[6] Later the same week, on 21 October, he made his professional debut as a substitute for Oscar in the 73rd minute of a 6–0 win over NK Maribor in the Champions League. This made him the youngest player to debut in the Champions League for Chelsea.[7]

At youth level, Solanke continued to score at a prolific rate scoring 15 goals in 16 games before Christmas and finishing as top scorer in the group stages of the UEFA Youth League after a hat trick in the final group stage match against Sporting CP.[8][9] On 10 April 2015, Solanke scored a brace in the semifinal of the 2014–15 UEFA Youth League against A.S. Roma to send Chelsea into the final.[10] Solanke scored again against Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Youth league final ending the tournament with 12 goals in 9 games as Chelsea won the title.[11] On 20 April, Solanke scored a late goal to give his side a 3–1 win in the first leg of the FA Youth Cup final against Manchester City.[12] With this goal, Solanke reached the 35-goal mark this season.[13] On 7 May, Solanke reached 41 goals for the season after scoring a hat-trick in a 4–3 victory over Liverpool U21.[14]

On 30 May 2015, Solanke clinched the only goal of the game in a post-season friendly against Thailand All-Stars, therefore scoring his first senior goal of his career.[15]

2015–16 season: Loan to Vitesse
On 4 August 2015, Solanke joined Dutch club Vitesse on a season-long loan to gain first team experience.[16] He was the fifth Chelsea youngster to be lent to the Arnhem-based club that summer, after Lewis Baker, Isaiah Brown, Nathan and Danilo Pantić.[17] After the departure of Uroš Đurđević to Palermo, [18] Solanke was handed the number 9 shirt.

After getting approval to play in the Netherlands from FIFA, Solanke made his debut on 23 August 2015 coming off the bench in the 79th minute against Feyenoord, the match ended in a 2–0 defeat for Vitesse.[19] On 30 August 2015, Solanke scored his first senior goal in a 4–1 victory over SC Cambuur coming in off the bench with 15 minutes to go.[20] On 4 October, Scored scored his second goal of the season in a 5–0 victory over FC Groningen.[21] On 18 October, Solanke converted a penalty conceded by Thomas Lam in a 5–1 victory over PEC Zwolle.[22] On 31 October, Solanke converted another penalty in a 3–0 victory over S.B.V. Excelsior.[23] Solanke scored his fifth goal of the season in a 5–1 victory over FC Twente on December 18.[24] On 20 March 2016, in the match against Groningen, Solanke came off the bench in the 65th minute and scored a brace as Vitesse went on to win 3–0.[25]

Solanke ended the season with 7 goals in 25 appearances, just three behind top scorer Valeri Qazaishvili and one behind runner-up Milot Rashica.[26]

2016–17 season
In April 2016, it was reported that both Chelsea and Solanke had stalled whilst in contract negotiations, after the young forward had demanded a wage of £50,000 per week.[27] However, The Telegraph was later forced to publish a retraction of the claim that Solanke demanded such wages.[28] After rejecting many loan offers from several teams, Solanke was retained as Chelsea's third choice striker behind Diego Costa and Michy Batshuayi for the first half of the 2016–17 campaign. On 23 August 2016, Solanke was involved in Chelsea's matchday squad for their EFL Cup home tie against Bristol Rovers for the first time since making his debut in October 2014. However, Solanke remained as an unused sub in the blues' 3–2 victory.[29]

With contract talks at an impasse Solanke was frozen out of the first team picture for the rest of the season and, in February 2017, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte confirmed that it was likely that Solanke would leave the club in the summer upon the expiry of his contract.[30][31]

Liverpool
On 30 May 2017, it was confirmed that Solanke had agreed to join Liverpool on 1 July upon the expiration of his Chelsea contract.[32] The fee will be decided by a tribunal, with Liverpool expected to pay around £3 million.[33]

Solanke has represented England at all youth team levels.[34]

In May 2014, Solanke was part of the England squad that won the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. He was the tournament's joint top scorer with four goals in four appearances, a brace against Turkey, a goal in the semi-final secured a place in the final, and England's goal in the final.[35][36]

In January 2015, Solanke was named England Men's Youth Player of the Year 2014.[37] On 25 March 2015, Solanke collected his YPOTY trophy and was invited to train with the senior England squad.[38]

Solanke was named in the 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship squad, alongside fellow Chelsea players, Fikayo Tomori, Tammy Abraham, and Isaiah Brown.[39]

He is eligible to represent Nigeria through his descent.[40][41]

He was named in the squad for the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup[42] and scored twice in the semi-finals as England beat Italy 3-1 to advance to the final.

Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo-Abraham

Abraham joined Chelsea at U8 level and progressed through the clubs academy system.[3] He was part of the Chelsea youth side which recorded back to back triumphs in both the UEFA Youth League and the FA Youth Cup in 2015 and 2016.[3] In the 2016 edition of the UEFA Youth League, Abraham pitched in with a return of eight goals in nine matches, making him the tournament's second highest goal scorer.[4] He carried his form over in to the FA Youth Cup and netted the winning goal in Chelsea's victory over Manchester City in April.[5] During the 2014–15 and 2015–16 seasons Abraham scored 74 goals in 98 matches across all competitions for Chelsea's various youth sides.[6]

On 5 August 2016, Abraham signed for Championship side Bristol City on a season-long loan from parent club Chelsea, with no recall clause, and was assigned the vacant number nine shirt upon arrival.[9] He made his debut for the club the following day, coming off the bench for fellow debutant Josh Brownhill to score City's first goal in a 2–1 come-from-behind win over Wigan Athletic,[10] although the goal was later credited to Hörður Magnússon instead.[11]

Abraham started in his second game and scored the only goal of the match in a 1–0 win over Wycombe Wanderers, helping Bristol City advance to the Second round of the Football League Cup.[12] The following week, on 13 August, he scored his first professional brace in a 2–1 victory over newly promoted Burton Albion, including the last-minute winner.[13] In September, Abraham scored his second brace against Sheffield Wednesday, although Bristol City ultimately lost 3–2.[14] He scored a further two goals during the month which saw him named Football League Championship Player of the Month for September.[15] He was also awarded the EFL's Young Player of the Month award for September.[16]

On 31 January 2017, Abraham scored his 16th Championship goal in the 2–2 draw against Sheffield Wednesday, which saw him break the record of former Fulham striker Moussa Dembélé for the most goals scored by a teenager since the beginning of the Football League Championship era.[17] Abraham ended the season with 23 goals to his name, second only to Chris Wood of Leeds United, as Bristol completed the campaign in 17th position, thereby avoiding relegation.[18] His performances throughout the season also earned him Bristol City’s Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Top Goalscorer awards. In doing so, he became the first ever to play to earn all three awards in the same season.[19]

Abraham has represented England at both U18 and U19 level. He scored his first goals at age group level for England in March 2015, netting a brace as England U18 beat Switzerland 6–1.[20] Later that year, while representing the U19 side against Japan, Abraham and teammate Patrick Roberts played a game of rock–paper–scissors on the pitch to decide who would take a penalty. Abraham was triumphant but missed the resultant spot-kick. Just a minute later, however, Roberts assisted Abraham for the second goal of the match, which ultimately ended 5–1 in England's favour.[21]

On 6 July 2016, Abraham was one of four Chelsea players named in Aidy Boothroyd's squad for the U19 European Championship.[22] He featured in three out of four matches as England were eliminated by Italy in the semi-final.[23] Abraham also received his first Under 21 call-up on 29 September 2016. He made his first appearance for the side on 6 October, coming on as a substitute with eight minutes remaining against Kazakhstan in a qualifier for the U21 European Championships. England a 1–0 victory which secured the nation's progression to the tournament proper. He made his full debut for the U21's in their final group stage match against Bosnia & Herzegovina and netted twice in a 5–0 victory for England.[24]

He remains eligible to represent Nigeria through his father and has in the past been sounded out by the Nigerian Football Association.[25] Abraham's father is close friends with Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick.[26]
