Chief marketing officer of PHCN once told me a secret that will keep majority of Nigerians out of prepaid meter in the nearest future!
I am one of the leaders of my church particularly on inventory, i was ordered by my church to get prepaid meter from EEDC of PHCN in Port Harcourt which we have paid for over a year.
The chief marketing officer of PHCN I took my complaint to in his office , coincidentally, happens to be my church member from a sister congregation, He told me that they were banned from discussing anything about prepaid meter or face dismissal, i asked him why, he confided in me as a church member that: PHCN makes more money through estimated bills at the expense of Nigerians.
The officer further said PHCN engineers are also banned from any proposal or research on anything concerning Prepaid Meter or face dismissal without benefit.
So my fellow Nigerians the general pay as you go electrical metering in Nigeria will never be accomplished unless there is an establishment of law and independent body to force this business cabals called PHCN to do that.
"Thou Shall not discuss, hear, report or do anything about prepaid meter in PHCN" my pastor mocked them!
