Spanish Prosecutors File Claim Against Cristiano Ronaldo For Alleged Tax Fraud by soccerblitz: 3:23pm On Jun 13, 2017
Spain’s prosecutor’s office has filed a lawsuit against football star Cristiano Ronaldo, who allegedly defrauded Spanish authorities of €14.7 million between 2011 and 2014.

In a statement, the prosecutor’s office said Real Madrid’s Ronaldo had knowingly used a “business structure” created in 2010 to hide his income in Spain from his image rights.

The lawsuit was based on a report sent to the prosecutor’s office from Spain’s tax agency AEAT, it said.

Ronaldo’s representatives could not immediately be reached for comment
