SENIOR DRILLING ENGINEER/DRILLING SUPERVISOR (DSV)

Basic Job Functions

• Establish and maintain HSE plans to execute drilling and completion/well intervention operations in accordance with GOAL Zero. Accountable for the investigation of incidents and compliance with the Shell incident management requirements.
• Identifying, initiating and implementing Technical Limit Drilling activities in the detailed planning and execution phases of assigned well projects (Best Practices screening, DWOP, Pre-spud, well section reviews and briefings of rig team and contractors).
• Budget and Cost Control, cost management, reporting in accordance with internal reporting requirements for wells.
• Ensuring that rig team generates the required reports, including the End Of Well Report (EOWR) to record performance and ensuring that learning points are captured and documented.
• Ensuring input of learning into systems/databases, and reviews at regular intervals with other senior WE staff to identify and embed current best practices and standards to be applied.

Minimum Requirement

• Graduate/HTS/HND in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
• 10 years or more experience in Well Engineering. Proven experience in field operations (as DSV), and in well planning and/or operations engineering.
• CWI Round I and Round II or equivalent trade test
• Strong contract management, business sense, cost awareness and a commitment to the HSEMS process.



TOOLPUSHER

Basic Job Functions

• Conduct table top evaluation of drilling rig, rental and well equipment tenders.
• Provide Rig and Well Equipment Qualification and Inspection services.
• Manage the execution of the contracts through timely delivery of PR’s, PO’s and subsequent payment through SAP. Follow up with semi-annual Business Performance Reviews (BPR’s).
• Monitor and report on drilling operations progress against objectives and key performance indicators. Ensure, in cooperation with Senior Wells/Completions Engineer, that the wells documentation is live and up to date.

Minimum Requirement

• Bachelor of Science Degree or HND in Engineering or Science.
• Minimum 10 years Well Engineering experience with at least 3 years in Inspection and equipment qualification
• Knowledge of industry standards related to drilling equipment.
• Computer literacy




WELL COMPLETION SUPERVISOR

Basic Job Functions

• Lead the offshore Completions and Interventions team during execution of the work on the rig.
• Mentor Junior Staff and provide them with the necessary skills to carry out completion and workover activities safely and proficiently.
• Work with the Drilling Supervisor to optimise the work schedule
• Monitor and report on completion and workover operations progress against objectives and key performance indicators. Ensure, in cooperation with Senior Completions Engineer, that the wells documentation is live and up to date.


Minimum Requirement

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences
• Minimum 5 years Well Engineering experience with at least 3 years in completions
• CWI Round I and Round II or equivalent trade test
• Demonstrated success in a similar CWI position is required
• Experience in well completions design and programming and the application of DCAF.
• Good working knowledge and experience with the standard suite of well engineering software including: WellCat (ii) Prosper (iii) EDM (iv) Well Plan for Windows (iv) Stress Check



WELL ENGINEERING TRAINER

Basic Job Functions

• Provide Well Engineering classroom and field coaching for young Engineers.
• Prepare Company personnel for Well Control certification by teaching in Well Engineering Well Control (IWCF) sessions.
• Teach all Well Engineering related courses including Well Engineering courses designed for non-Well engineers.

Minimum Requirement

• Graduate/HTS/HND in a relevant engineering or science discipline
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in similar role.
• Possess CWI Round I and Round II or equivalent trade test
• Demonstrated success in a similar Well Engineering position is required





WELL COACHING COORDINATOR

Basic Job Functions


• Provide Technical, Admin and Logistics support to Well Engineering Learning and Development facilitators for effective and efficient classroom training sessions.

Minimum Requirement

• Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience relevant to this role
• Computer literacy


WELL INTERVENTION SUPERVISOR

Basic Job Functions

• Assist in the supervision of CWI field operations inclusive of Wireline, Wellhead maintenance, Well Integrity and Slickline field operations.
• Provide support to the Well Intervention team in the area of planning, mobilization and execution of CWI operations.

Minimum Requirement

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Science or Engineering
• Valid Well Control Certification
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in similar role.
• Proficient in computer usage.


COMPLETION AND WELL INTERVENTION WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN


Basic Job Functions

• Carry out redress and servicing of downhole accessories/equipment – GLV’s, SSSV’s, plugs etc and Xmas tree rehabilitation.
• Assist in the supervision of Workshop operations inclusive of repairs, redress and servicing of Xmas trees, valves and other services carried out by third party vendors

Minimum Requirement

• Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role.



COMPLETION AND WELL INTERVENTION (CWI) TRAINER

Basic Job Functions

• Provide CWI (Completions and Well Intervention) classroom and field coaching for young Engineers.
• Provide Completions and Well interventions Well Control (WIPC) training sessions.

Minimum Requirement

• Graduate/HTS/HND in a relevant engineering or science discipline
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in similar role.
• Possess CWI Round I and Round II or equivalent trade test
• Demonstrated success in a similar Completion & Well Intervention (CWI) position is required
• Experience in well completions design and programming and the application of DCAF.



WELL SITE HSE COORDINATOR


Basic Job Functions

• Hazard identification and mitigation across the spectrum of field activities.
• Facilitate & ensure JHA, PTW and concurrent Operations procedures/work instructions are complied with.
• Execute field HSE inspection plans and review drill plans on site.
• Ensure audit actions are auditable closed out and recommendation implemented.


Minimum Requirement

• Minimum of university degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 5 years industry related experience
• NEBOSH professional certification - International General Certificate (IGC)
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge in Drilling, Completion and Well Intervention operations will be an added advantage





HSE (DRILLING WASTE) OFFICER

Basic Job Functions

• Collate & Input all environmental Data from the various rig operations
• Collate and prepare input to the application of Effluent discharge permits
• Making professional drilling input to EIA and all waste management plans
• Providing QA/QC for all external Waste management documentation


Minimum Requirement

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Physical Science
• 5 years’ experience in Oilfield HSE position and Exposure to HSE in Well Engineering Environments.
• Experience of Drilling Waste Management procedures, Incident Investigation, Contractor HSE Capability Assessments.
• Computer Literacy


WELL SITE QA/QC OFFICER

Basic Job Functions

• Ensure equipment is fit for purpose and safe for use and transportation to the rig.
• Ensure equipment required for operations is made ready for dispatch at the required date and time.
• Monitor contractors performing preservation/maintenance and rig returns inspection of tubulars and completion equipment
• Report non-conformities and safety related observations to Wells Operations Team.
• Witness pressure tests, load tests, and function tests as directed.
• Assist in investigations of equipment failures and record and report findings.

Minimum Requirement

• Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience relevant to this role
• Computer literacy
• Must have track record of inspection of machine shops jobs, rental tool, service company equipment and drilling rig parts / activities.
• Good working knowledge of relevant API and ISO Standards



MUD QA/QC ENGINEER

Basic Job Functions

• Supervise, co-ordinate & proffer advanced, up-beat professional advice to the well site Mud Engineers towards effective & excellent drilling fluids engineering service/operation.
• Ensures the Safe handling of chemicals (SHOC) and Hazards involved in handling of chemicals and the urgent treatment procedures are highlighted prior to commencement of drilling and workover activities.
• Inspect and facilitate that all solids control equipment are in optimal working condition before the commencement of drilling activities & during drilling. Examples of such equipment are Primary Shakers, Desander, Desilter, Degasser, Mud Cleaner, Hi-G Dryers & centrifuge. Any faulty equipment MUST be immediately reported to the Contractor Drilling Manager & DSV (Senior Drilling Engineer) for adequate preventive maintenance

Minimum Requirement

• Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Mud Engineering Oilfield and Marine logistics position
• Thorough knowledge of oilfield equipment and inspection and maintenance requirements.
• Computer literacy



BOREHOLE SURVEY QA/QC OFFICER

Basic Job Functions

• Ensure compliance with anti-collision requirements.
• Performing survey magnetic/Sag correction, drill string magnetic interference estimation/NMDCL calculation

Minimum Requirement

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Equivalent
• 5 years’ experience working in similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of Borehole planning Software (Compass).

SAP SUPPORT OFFICER – WELL ENGINEERING


Basic Job Functions

• Co-ordinate, Coach & Mentor Wells personnel on SAP software usage
• Provide Corridor Support to SAP software users in Wells
• Develop, operate and maintain SAP software modules


Minimum Requirement

• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree of Higher National Diploma HND)
• Computer proficiency
• Proficient in the use of SAP software
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience




LOGISTICS COORDINATOR


Basic Job Functions

• Coordinating Wells equipment, Personnel and costs.
• Prepare manifests of Dangerous goods, Waste.
• Ensure that Materials and equipment are delivered at appropriate times;
• Provide Logistics services to the Wells group including scheduling of loading and offloading of supply vessels.

• Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oilfield and Marine logistics position
• Thorough knowledge of oilfield equipment and inspection and maintenance requirements.
