The Nigeria Senate President, Bukola Saraki led a four member delegation of National Assembly members to see President Muhammad’s Buhari in London.

Among the delegation are Speaker Yakubu Dogara, his deputy, Yusuf Lasun and Senate Leader, Ahmed Lawan.

President Buhari travelled to the United Kingdom for a 10-day vacation on January 19 but later extended his trip indefinitely.

The guided-missile destroyer USS Porterfires a Tomahawk land attack missile on April 7 in the Mediterranean Sea.

The USS Porterwas one of two destroyers that fired a total of 59 cruise missiles at a Syrian military airfield in retaliation for a chemical attack that killed scores of civilians this week.

The attack was the first direct US assault on Syria and the government of President Bashar al-Assad since the war began there.

The United States dropped its largest non-nuclear weapon after it targeted an ISIS network of caves and tunnels in eastern Afghanistan.

The blast killed 36 militants as it destroyed three underground tunnels as well as weapons and ammunition, a spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Defense said. April, 2017.
