Position: Boiler Operator
Years of Experience: 5 years experience in solid fuel boiler with operating pressure of 10 to 40 bar
Location: KEBBI
Qualifications:
B.Sc or HND in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical engineering or other related field
Boiler competency certificate

Responsibility:
• Overall In charge of shift for Operation and Maintenance of the husk fired boiler. Make regular check of the equipment and maintain the same in good condition.
• Operate and adjust boiler so as to maintain maximum boiler efficiency by adjusting, reading and interpreting gauges, indicators and flow meters.
• Maintain various records and reports in the log book.
• Train the operators on the setting of the husk fired fluidized bed.
• To ensure the cleanliness in the Boiler section.
• To ensure follow up of all Safety procedures.
• Assist the plant operating engineer in the operation of various systems such as fuel systems, feed water, control systems, pumping etc.
• Check and record various temperatures, pressures, water levels, water and air flows and inform the Boiler I/C if any abnormality found.
• Assist in the collection of various operating and maintenance records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Ensure timely filling and collection of ash for disposal at the designated place.
• Ensure follow up of safety be self and all the fellow workers.
