NASFAT Former Chief Missioner, Abdullahi Akinbode, Opens New Islamic Enterprise, by sanity0407: 1:15pm On Jun 20, 2017
The former Chief Missioner of Nasrulahi-fatih Society (NASFAT), Abdullahi Gbade Akinbode, has commenced a new Islamic society called Jamaa’tu Ahli Llahi, BlackBox Nigeria can exclusive report.

BBN reliably gathered that he labeled the new gathering a society of radical departure and milestone in the formation, management, and composition of Islamic ‘Pentecostalism’ in the 21st century.

In introducing the new Islamic enterprise, Akinbode wrote in the group’s prayer book, “the organization is an Islamic – branded religious outfit that stands to project the ideal and realistic traits of the prophetic Methodism. Its synergy and syllogism depicts robust interactions of the Ahlu – li – Llahi (Household of Allah) concept whereby the Muhajirun (Migrants) and the Ansar (Helpers) cordially relate formidable entities to elevate the cause of Allah.”

The coming on board of Jamaa’tu Ahli Llahi further adds to the proliferation of religious bodies which many are of the opinion are profit driven than contributing to spirituality.

It will be recalled that Akinbode had tended his letter of voluntary step down as Chief Missioner to the NASFAT’s National Executive Council in April 28, 2017. The notice of disengagement received at the NASFAT Secretariat same day and addressed to the General Secretary was to take immediate effect.

While studying the statement released by NASFAT following Akinbode’s supposed voluntary step aside, BBN gathered that the crux of the crack in NASFAT was the irreconcilable differences about who gets what and how of the weekly “asalatu collections (money)”.
The Statement reads in part, “at a meeting held on 25th December, 2016 between organs of NASRULAHI-L-FATIH SOCIETY (NASFAT) and the former Chief Missionary (CM), Alhaji Abdullah Gbade Akinbode, he made following declaration and it is only its fulfilment by the society will make him rescind his decision;

“The Board of Trustees, National Council of Elders, and National Executive Council as presently constituted should be dissolved and merge into a body of Hawlur-Rassul (those who surround the Prophet in the course of Allah).

“The Zones of the Society should be dissolved immediately. Both (i) and (ii) above should be merged and totally submit to the authority of the Chief Missioner.

“An Executive Secretary should be employed to head the Secretariat to manage the Headquarters and Zones directly as approved by the Chief Missionary.

“1/5 (20%) of all collections at Asalatu and other functions should be paid directly to the Chief Missionary, “

In projecting his new enterprise, Imam Abdullahi Akinbode, called those who run similar societies maybe in this context those now in charge of NASFAT,”fiddle player or actor at the backdoor or under the curtain of leadership.”
