Every youngman has a dream, some, materialistic in nature, some, adventures ridden, most, fair share of both. Though there never seems to be a limit to our dreams as the actualization of one sets another automatically but some things can hold us back from achieving them.
One thing all youngmen have in common is a dream. Well, for most, it revolves around getting that big buck spitting job, getting married to that incredibly beautiful and sexy lady down the block or in that church choir or the one you picture in your head, some, building houses and owning head turning rides. As beautiful as all youngmen dreams are, to achieve them, some things must be checkmated. (Except one of the things listed here is what you dream of breaking records in)
Here is the list of the top 5 distractions every youngman must avoid on the path to their dreams.

(1)Women
This will top the list no matter who wrote this, or when and where it is written. You can't just hate them but, love them too much and you are doomed. Women are the salt of the world but when you spice food with too much salt, it gets useless. Guys of nowadays spent too much energy, resources, time and manpower chasing after women and our young celebrities are not helping matters as they flaunt women at any given opportunity. Women can be a potent dream killer if given too much attention, that is why it is better to stick with one or else you may never achieve that beautiful dreams of yours.

(2) Alcohol/Drugs
Many young vibrant minds have been lost to Alcohol and Drugs and that is not the end of it as many are still going to perish in its abyss. Alcohol and Drugs has taken many to their early grave, Prison and has killed many even while they live. Many youngmen has relegated themselves to drugs and alcohol as a solace from their fear while some see them as a way of catching fun and has succumb themselves to the wicked sweet sensation it gives to the extent that they now live for it; alone. This is one of the things youngmen must avoid so that they won't sway but stay on course to achieve their dreams.

(3) Early Marriage
Family pressure and unexpected pregnancy are the greatest players in this. Youngmen sometimes find themselves in marriages which most times, they are not psychologically or financially ready for it and before they get enough time to fathom what's on, "pikin don dey ground". Though marriage is a good thing but getting into it at a wrong time can be a great distraction for any young man with dreams.

(4)Success Stories
Stories will be told from now till the end of time because they are meant to be told but how some young men handle them is the problem. If the success stories of people you know or don't know is not properly harness psychologically, it can push some young men to the part of crime (especially in this country of ours). For success stories not to be a distraction for a young hustling guy, it should be admitted with a positive mind and its power channelled to fueling our willpower to achieving our own dreams instead of being envious or jealous of those achieving things. #StayPositive!
(5) External pressure
Our parent, girlfriend(s), friends, even celebrities are the culprit here. Sometimes people around us pass the vibe that we are not doing things worthwhile or not doing enough consciously or unconsciously. Our parent sometimes talk about their successful friend's sons or daughters, or our girlfriend gisting us about how rich their friend's boyfriend are or how a guy got their friend a car. This can do enough to a youngman willpower and resolve to achieve their dreams
