WANTED I The sun buried itself Behind the moving mighty mountains. The birds flew to their hiding places To *omegalize* their diurnal exertions. There, I heard her calling like a neonate "Honey, it's been a while. Where have you been? When will you be back?" II She called And there came no response But a little voice from behind she heard III "Mother! I've gone far, Far beyond a callback, Lured to the dirge of time. I've joined THEM in singing the 'redemption-song', Playing the game of death Trotting from lairs to hidy-holes After unhinging the POWERS, Doing the self-answering to my prayer for equity, Fighting to equalize the simple addition, Since I can't define my own "go ye", I've got to do something on my own. IV. I've learnt how to strike and retreat When to lunch and shield Why I have to and the needn't Solely doing a diehard struggle within and without. I've been to shrines and temples To Churches and to Mosques Seeking faces Seeking names But returned with a jillion of zero Nothing provokes, nothing interest But if by tomorrow I return Smiling in a casket With pellets flocking in my head And the mourners doing their job piously, Please, Tell my brothers, there is a world in this world A world for the worlds alone.
