"But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things." (1John 2:20).
We claim we believe the scripture and we put our trust in the word of God. But there are things we do, there are attitudes that shows we do really believe in the word of God. The word of God says we know all things, do we really believe that? Then why do you pursue knowing this or that? Why do you struggle to know and understand grace, faith, spiritual gifts, the secret to the anointing, how to live a holy life etc?

According to the scripture you already know these things. Then why are you trying to know what you already know. It's someone holding a glass of water yet still trying to have a glass of water. You are trying to have what you already have. God has put all knowledge in you so that you can stop pursuing knowledge. Stop this obsession about knowledge. Man out of insecurity and curiosity had always pursue knowledge. We fear what we don't know, we feel insecure about something that we don't have sufficient knowledge about.

We can't risks not knowing, we want to get the advantage or rather the power that comes with knowledge. As such we pursue knowledge, we have a whole system that is channel at getting and exploring knowledge. We bring all this this into the Church struggling, just trying to know. We spend weeks after week of hours of Bible study trying to know this or that. But God is saying enough! Take your rest, for you already know all things. Why act like carnal dead man, you are now alive and you are awaken to all know — yes you know all things.

The Bible is not a book of knowledge but a book of God's dealing with other. Stop focusing on trying to know instead focus on trying to walk with God. To deal with God and to have God deal with you. To fellowship with the Father. God wants you to focus on relationships with Him and that's why He dealt with the knowledge problem. You have no issues with knowledge, just focus on walking with God. In Christ you know all this, you have sufficient knowledge now rely in that sufficiency. Rest, stop running about, looking for knowledge. It's enough, just rest — rest in the sufficiency that is in Christ.
