Its a nightmare for me I have closed my vegetable farm in Warri where I made over 100K weekly due to none availability of farm workers
The ones I had initially became wild and started becoming lazy and steals the produce when am away to work.

What caused it?

Could it be the amount you pay them is not enough?

How did you make 100K weekly dealing in vegetable farming?

Do you mean you were making 100k weekly on your vegetable farm? This translates to 400k monthly! If so what was your other occupation that kept you from full time vegetable farming?

When your farm is in a community where 99%are also farmers, getting worker to work for you is a problem because at land preparation/planting season that you need them most, they will all be attending to their own farm.

If you import workers, it even more expensive ........my experience so far

. This guy fit lie for Africa, you where making about N100k a week and you abandon that to work for some one else company, it then mean that your monthly earning at where you work, will be around N600k per month

Hmmm ! This issue ??

We all have to finally find a way for small machines. It gets tougher each year. Now 'imported' farm labour is not less than 220 for 10 months. And is not even ready available. Many promise and fail people.

Just focusing on my Fish for now. Cos that labour issue , na war !
Re: Let's Share Farm Labour Experiences by stagger: 6:15pm On Jul 01, 2017
I am already working on acquisition of certain small machines to do away with as many of the farm labourers as possible. Already, my seed planter has been a game changer in this area.

Simple machines are game changers, investing in them is a smart move.
