I keep wondering the idea behind banks specifying age before employing candidates that are searching for job. Please nairalanders help clear my wonder. |

Not only banks, most companies now consider age... They feel you have more productive years, snf lesser distraction when you are younger. |

H2Ossss: Having a superior that is much younger than you does not matter, your diligence matters. when I joined a bank as a Teller, my operations manager was younger than most of we Tellers, despite this, we worked together smoothly. When I also moved to another bank as a Cash Officer, my operations manager was much younger than me, I also had subordinates that are older than me. We worked harmoniously. |

They erroneously believe young people are more enterprising.... Naija country where a companies will advertise a job and require age minimum of 26 with 5 years working experience, 1st class upper, holy, speak 4 foreign languages, single and have referees that are working in the presidency ... U go just weak 2 Likes |
