Customer Service is providing a produce or service that satisfies the needs/wants of customers & keeps them coming back. Every sales person in business knows the importance of making a positive first impression & they know their success/livelihood will depend on how their potential customer perceives in the 30 seconds of interaction. There are five basic customer service needs; Friendliness, Empathy, Fairness, Control, Information.

Three key elements of Customer Service are:
Expanding your definition of service.
Identifying Your customers.
Developing a Customer friendly Approach.


Here are few certain customer service skills that every employee needs:
Patience: Dealing with customers on a daily basis, be sure to stay patient when they come to you stumped and frustrated, but also be sure to take the time to truly figure out what they want — they'd rather get competent service than be rushed out the door!

Clear Communication Skills
Knowledge of the Product
Ability to Use "Positive Language"
Time Management Skills
Persuasion Skills
