Manchester United are on the brink of completing their second summer signing after agreeing a fee with Everton for Romelu Lukaku – and Ivan Perisic has given a subtle hint that he could be linking up with the Belgian at Old Trafford. United and Everton have settled on a £75 million fee for the 24-year-old striker, who will now undergo a medical and finalise personal terms. Jose Mourinho, meanwhile, is keen to bolster his attacking options even further and has attempted to lure Perisic from Inter this summer. The Serie A club are understood to be holding out for a fee in the region of €55m (£48.2m). United, meanwhile, travel to the United States on Sunday to begin their pre-season preparations. Lukaku, who is on holiday with Pogba in LA, is expected to link up with Mourinho’s side after passing his medical.
