THE STAND OFF




there I am faced with love n betrayal
pointing their guns towards me
n I in defence doing d same with two pistols each
aimed at their forehead,
one demented n jealous to c my end
the other deceived and broken.
only but shadows and the rain bore witness to this drama.
What must I do?
my beloved should listen to reason but loss had
fallen her heart.
my enemy lafs at my misery
I am the cause of this clash
my exisyence ,my talent n a forced hand.
now I surrender, facing my back at them to hear
their verdict.
n I heard a gun shot.
