Samsung has launched a new smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy On Max in its Galaxy On series in India. The Galaxy On Max is very similar to the Galaxy J7 Max which was launched not long ago in the same country.

In fact, the only notable difference between the two smartphones is the absence of the Smart Glow light around the rear camera module in the Galaxy On Max.

Design & Display

The Samsung Galaxy On Max comes with a large 5.7-inch TFT IPS screen which is covered with 2.5D curved glass and has a 1920 * 1080 (Full HD) pixel resolution and a 386 ppi pixel density.

It has a metal unibody design and uses a physical home button positioned below the display between two capacitive navigation buttons.

Storage & Processor

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 Lite processor with eight processing cores, a maximum speed of 2.39GHz and a Mali T880 GPU which handles its graphics processes. It has 4GB of RAM and comes with 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy On Max sports a 13MP camera with a f/1.7 aperture and a LED flash at the rear, while the same camera lens with a f/1.9 aperture and a LED flash for visibility in low-light conditions is situated at the front for taking selfies.

Battery & Connectivity

The Galaxy On Max packs a 3300mAh Li-ion battery which can last up to 72 hours while playing music and possesses up to 20 hours of talk time. It comes with a dual Nano-SIM slot which supports 4G networks with Voice-over-LTE.

Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and GPS for location tracking.

Software & Hardware

The Samsung Galaxy On Max runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Samsung Pay Mini for seamless mobile payments, and the Social Camera app for editing and sharing images on social media.

It has a fingerprint sensor which is embedded in its physical home button.
