When he won the league did you remember giving kudos to the board? Give kudos to Burnley.
Last season I complained that the team lacked depth.We were a bit lucky in most part of the season coupled with the fact that Chelsea were not in any continental tournament.Moreover,a lot of players in the team are passing their peak.If something is not done quickly,Chelsea will not go past group stage in the Champions league and may not make top 4.The board needs to buy.Chelsea is a top club.This lackluster display against Burnley is unacceptable

I know its just the first game but remember how we ended in 10th position 2 seasons back? We drew our opening game with swansea, a game we were supposed to win.

you guys can keep blaming conte up nd down, but in truth the management didn't support the team this season. we keep loaning players out where in truth we don't even have a starting eleven to match Burnley!! apart from morata on the bench who can we call upon to make a difference, see our midfield all exposed and we still allow chaloaba and matic go!! the season is already looking scary.

Same thing that happened 2 seasons ago. Everyone switched off, he was the only one giving 101%. Luiz is obviously infuriated

How in the world are we going to come back from this ...even if we had all 11 men playing. I said it last season that our defense has remained suspect in the past 3 seasons ...but we kept managing..people like DAvid Luiz and Cahill to lead that wobbly back line ...well me na Sidon look I dey...even if we equalize or win by an impossible 4-3 I will still not trust we will make any impact this season...in fact if we're not careful it could. E worse than 2015/16
