Amidst the unfortunate crisis yet to be resolved in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (Lautech), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, the school is in the News again, courtesy of a ground breaking achievement from her students who won’t allow the ongoing strike actions incapacitate their strength, ability and their becoming.


On Friday, July 14 , two LAUTECH teams, (TEAM MUFASA and TEAM PPG) came first and third respectively at the grand finale of the maiden edition of Professor Ayodele Awojobi Design Competition, organized by the University of Lagos Engineering Society (ULES) which was held at the university main Auditorium.


According to reports gathered, the “engineering based competition was opened for all
undergraduate engineering students to show the world innovative things they have personally developed around solving a particular problem.”



For the final, seven teams reportedly made it to exhibit their designs. Two teams from the hosting school, two from Lautech, and the other three from Futminna, U.I., and Covenant University.
