Emmanuel Emenike fired blanks in his debut match for his Greek club, Olympiacos over the weekend but that is not the only problem for the 30-year old Nigerian striker.

Olympiacos coach Besnik Hasi was not impressed by the Nigerian "bullish" striker.

“He was not fit when he joined us because he was not involved with the pre-season training of Fenerbache,” he said.

“He will need a little more time to be fully fit, may be by the middle of next week he will reach a better level.

“His speed will be very important for us upfront.”

Olympiacos are having a part of their pre-season training in Belgium and Emenike who was brought for close to N900 million by the Greek club is among the players sweating it out ahead of another rigorous season.
