The Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma was established by the then Executive Governor of Bendel State, Professor A.F. Alli. The primary objective of the University is to provide educational opportunity for the numerous youths of the then Bendel State origin who could not got places in the
few Federal Universities towards the fulfillment of their educational aspirations at the tertiary level. The University is located at Ujemen, Ekpoma with an Annexe at Emaudo, Ekpoma.
