How To Engage Your Kids Effectively During Summer Holidays- 1 by HephzibahO: 5:42pm On Jul 19, 2017
The Holidays are here. Please make it worthwhile and fun for your kids.

Tips on how to get your kids meaningfully engaged at this time- Part 1

1. Get them to read at least two books this holiday. Especially books that are not strictly academic. Inspirational books, comics and creative novels are good examples of such books(TAW can build a summer library for them or guide you on how to get the books)

2. Take them to the movies and let them watch something fun, educative and with loads of morals.(You can get them to join our Learning outing during our summer coaching period. We are going to the movies and we have a guided learning approach to seeing movies)

2. Get them enrolled in a summer programme that will impact their abilities, character formation and future positively and effectively. Choose a programme that will not be outrightly academic but with more of life and tangible skills involved(The TAW Summer programme has been structured to develop the totality of a child. Get them to join us from 7th August for a rich learning experience)

4. Help them learn at least 1 "corporate skill"- computer skills such as typing, organizing files, administration, doing checklists, planning the family menu, supervising chores and giving reports to Daddy, Mummy or whoever is in charge. These skills come handy even at home.(We can also tailor this to your child's need during our summer classes)

5. Don't forget Healthy lifestyle, Sports and Exercises. The heavy school workload affects a kids involvement in sports. Summer programmes give that opportunity.(We have Aerobics, Physical Exercise, Healthy living classes and simple sports periods in our August programme)

6. Focused Travel- This travel is not primarily for you but for the children to learn. The time length matters less compared to the quality of learning they receive. It could be long or short but you must make it a trip of fun and lessons. After the journey, get them to write briefly on how the trip impacted them. (A good way to start is to make them join our 1-day Outdoor Learning Trip to VI to learn contemporary table setting and etiquettes at a top class restaurant)

Remember to get them to join our programme from 7th to 24th August(only 10days in this period). It is a rich and complete programme for every child. Ages 6 to 10(class 1) and Ages 11 to 14(class 2)

Call 08103090297 for programme details, Instructors information, fee and registration. You can also inbox or leave your WhatsApp line on the comments section and we will contact you.
